What is photosynthesis?

Answer: Photosynthesis is a process in which plants use raw products to produce oxygen and food for their survival.

What are raw products used by plants?

Answer: The raw materials used in the process of photosynthesis are carbon dioxide and water.

What is chlorophyll?

Answer: Chlorophyll is a green pigment that absorbs the sunlight which is a useful catalyst for the process of photosynthesis.

What are xylem and phloem?

Answer: Plants do not have heart, neither they have blood nor they have blood vessels. They need a transport system to carry waste products and prepared products around. For carrying out this job, plants have two different transport systems i.e. Phloem and Xylem

What are properties of vessels?

Answer: Xylem and phloem carry food substances, minerals, water and things required for the process of photosynthesis and respiration. These vessels are so small that they can only be seen under a microscope.
