What is main job of white blood cells?
Answer: There are different types of white blood cells, but they have one thing in common and that is their job. All white blood cells defend the body from disease. They are constantly on a lookout for harmful bacteria.
How does white blood cell deplete germ?
Answer: A white blood cell is always on the lookout for a harmful bacteria. Whenever it sees one, it engulfs it (wraps around it and eats it).
What happens after white blood cell eats bacteria?
Answer: Whenever a white blood cell eats a bacteria, its life is left only for few days because it gets poisoned by the bacteria it engulfs.
What is yellow pus?
Answer: Yellow pus which comes from infected wound is dead white blood cells that have been poisoned by bacteria which caused the infection.
Some white blood cells do not eat bacteria what do they do?
Answer: Some white blood cells which do not engulf bacteria, they release a chemicals known as antibodies. These antibodies play an important part in defending the body from disease.
